Runway to New Zealand- The Think New Collection.

Education New Zealand and The Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) hosted the "Runway to New Zealand" event at the Hyatt Regency. 12 fashion students (6 from New Zealand and 6 from India) got the opportunity to pair up in twos and compete against each other for a two-week long internship at the two best fashion colleges of New Zealand.
The setup was really attractive and pretty. With the basic white ramp, blue lighting and glowing chandeliers, the entire room had an enthusiastic feel to it.
After His Excellency Grahame Morton and Sunil Sethi briefed the crowd with how the one month went for these students and what exactly the event is, I got to visualize one of the finest designs I've ever seen.

With Varun Bahl, Rina Dhaka, Amit Agarwal and Rohit Bal as the judges, the event without saying was crowd pleasing.
I was in love with the styles of each outfit I saw that night. From necks to the arm designs, it was truly beautiful. Loved how the participating students had mixed this generation's taste with the culture of New Zealand and India.

My favorite was the black net cape. The best part was that it was made by cutting an old silk saree!
