There is no denying that Rebecca Bloomwood, the protagonist of Confessions of a Shopaholic LOVES to shop! Shopping is utopia for her.
And more frequently than not, her frenzy for shopping lands her in a bubble of trouble. She adores fashion and can’t walk by a store without going in, and so when we meet her in the book, we find her constantly running out of money and time!
Shopping is her cardio and she is even spotted saying "A man will never love you or treat you as well as a store. If a man doesn't fit, you can't exchange him seven days later for a gorgeous cashmere sweater"
So here, at my blog, I took to imagining how much happier Rebecca would be if she just had the Myntra app.
You know that green scarf she covets at the beginning of the story but can’t afford?
With the Myntra app, she could have picked from a whole range of stunning scarves and not go through the never ending debts because like most of us know, Myntra brings you the coolest brands at the best prices.
A fashionista like Rebecca would have easily kept up with the latest trends by simply scooting over to the Myntra app where the latest styles are on display, all at the click of a button. The app could turn out to be her guru, her inspiration and her savior when she came across fashion blunders.
With the Myntra app, Rebecca would definitely not have fallen into a debt and had to auction off all her favorite clothes, she could stay happy, stylish and creative from the comfort of her own home with her cherished fashion essentials (clearly the whole wardrobe)
I am sure she would have been tempted to ask for the cash on delivery option, but with Myntra’s super quick deliveries she would have never overspent!
Now this is debatable as to how Rebecca would have met the love of her life if she didn’t get into a series of unfortunate shopping events?
Our assumptions would be that she would have eventually met him on the street where she could have dazzled him with her sweet smile and gorgeous outfit! Because when you shop at Myntra, every outfit you wear is a showstopper.
I firmly believe that her world would have got better and happier. That’s what the app will do to you or to the Rebecca Bloomwood in you.
