Outings During Exams.

Dear bloggers and readers, India's education is really hectic. You cannot take the pressure sometimes. As exams are going on, I hardly get to go out. Just a few more days then I'll be back updating my blog.
Anyways, as a new hep restaurant came up in our town, my sister got invited for the launch party and I went along.
Here's what I wore:

Off Shoulder top: Gift; Neckpiece: Thrift

It Takes Years To Recover the Nail Technicians' Course Fee' In India.

I'm not a person who reads the newspaper daily. Well you can't blame me. I would prefer finishing a 400 pages novel than reading 12 depressing black and white pages of the happenings of the world. But when one specific article caught my eyes, I made sure that from now on newspaper is gonna be a must read.
It's always assumed that India is a place which is backward and filled with hypocrites. Believe me this was old story. India is a place where you can now pursue whichever career you want. But after reading and researching about the situation of the Indian market of nails, my views changed about India.
Those of you who are planning to take up nail art as their profession remember there's more to the pretty designs and the clacky nails.

WHAT I DISCOVERED?
Nail art of today's world is now leading to a new place where you're gonna be treated like a maid.
Studies show that Indian beauty market is growing at 20 to 25% annually. On the contrary, the Indian market is a destructed and unstructured market consisting of young girls who dream of growing in the world of actual learning but end up ruining each day of the week. Countries like Hong Kong, New York and London treat the nail bars, nail extensions, manicures, pedicures and other services as one of the most important concepts providing with new technologies and qualifications with the federal governments throwing funds to popularize the concept of nail art ($109,000)
This international concept makes me wonder why there is so much of problem in India where girls from different states are hired in nail bars and kept in nail dust for hours harming their health.
Along with that, studies show that the fanciest of nail art stores in malls have the filthiest cleaning departments and no facilities of fire exits. Also, there are no periodic checks on these saloons which should be made a must.
If asked for better pay checks or less working hours, the girls are treated unjustly and shoved off to continue with their work.
When the girls were interviewed, they revealed the backstage story of these stores that many times the poor girls are regarded as lesser mortals. After spending 2-3 hours working with perfect concentration on the customer's hands, the employees don't get an appreciation or a word of thanks in return.
The starting salary is $78.90-$94.68 which is not enough. If the employees agree to work extra for an hour, they don't get more than $15.78. How can a person survive with this much of money in India? If you have to pay the rent for a house or food money, then you can barely make ends meet.
Those who have degrees which cost $2367.05 for 6 months are still able to earn $157.80 per month. But not everyone can afford a degree and even if some are able to afford it, it will take years to recover the nail technicians'course fee'

Anjalee&Arjun Kapoor: Jamawar Aria

When invited to a fashion show held by the sensational duo designers, you should really feel like the chosen one. Just kidding. We're not involving Harry Potter here.
For those who do not know who these legends are, you guys have seriously seen nothing magical if you haven't seen their designs.
The young designers have studios in New Delhi (India), Mumbai (India), Hong Kong and Dubai. For the special show, they presented the Victorian gowns and magnificent Bridal couture. The clothes give a royal look. Swarvoski, peplum, prints, bling, drapes and net did a beautiful work on each of the outfits. Along with being elegant, the clothes also had the magic to make any girl fall for them head over heels.
The show couldn't get prettier and with the song, I got so involved in the show that it took me a few minutes to realize when the show had ended. Having Bipasha Basu as their showstopper happened to be a great idea as she looked as stunning as she could and with all the models looking glamorous with every single clothing, the show had to turn out a hit.
The designers kept the men wear sophisticated along with jaw dropping. The texture and the designs turned out to be spectacular. In short, the whole idea about the event was to present the Mughal era and the concept of fine work.
