Back To School.

It's time to finally tie the knots with high school again. 2 days left to step back into reality. The jolly good time is long over and I'm NOT ready to enter the world of books. Funny it is that even after getting 60 days of break, we all want more and more.
Getting to the point, as it's a new time all over again that means it's time for new things as-well. New gel pens, markers, hairclips, rubber bands etc. (Call me crazy but all this excites me)
Things that won't change are the old registers, uniform, school shoes and school bag.

I'm so NOT ready for school to start. Who doesn't like endless holidays? It's like the time of our lives.
Anyways, the final word lies with the school principal.

Is It The Time to Say Our Goodbyes To GFC?

It's been more than an year since I've started blogging and since then I've been worshiping GFC. As all you bloggers know that questions are arising related to GFC whether we have to say goodbyes to it or not. As per me, GFC is a great way to connect through other blogs and I wouldn't want it to go. Of course there are other ways to follow and connect through other blogs but GFC is the best out of all. Maybe it's for the best but till then all the bloggers are sitting with curiosity as to what will happen. At least I am.
After this all the GFC traffic is shifting to bloglovin which is actually a great way to connect through blogs too!

How To Make Your Own Lip Balm.

Summer vacations can really make you do new things. Like learning how to make your own lip balm. It sounded funny at first because I always preferred buying them from outside but after learning how to make your own lip balm, I wont mind putting this specific one!

#Things You Need:

  • Vaseline
  • Different shades of lipstick
  • Small container (An old lip balm container would be perfect)

#What To Do:
Take some amount of vaseline depending on the quantity you need then mix in the lipstick.
Keep adding color till the time you haven't obtained the desired color and the mixture is soft, tender and nice. Put the mixture in the container.
Whenever the mixture is about to finish, repeat the process and you'll have the lip balm forever!

Side Effects of Boring Holidays.

In India the rainy season has started. It's drizzling at one moment and heavily raining the other. Who doesn't love the rain but when it gets all muddy and sticky, people do get irritated. As per me, I have to sit at home forcefully and wait for the rain to stop.
Finally after 3 days of waiting it got a bit sunny today.
As I've got literally nothing to do, I ended up doing crazy things :$

Tshirt: Passed on from mom.

Shorts: Forever21

Headband: Thrift.

Call me bored or a retard.

The Mega Sale.

This time of the year is pretty hectic. Sale everywhere and time limited. The 8th of June (Saturday) was the starting of the sale season. Organized by Vero Moda and Only, the sale was a dream come true for girls with a limited budget. This sale resembled the scene of Confessions of a Shopaholic when Rebecca was selling all her clothes and hundreds of girls were dying to bye them. This sale was no less. After waiting for 2 hours in the never ending line, I finally purchased a decent pair of shorts along with a dress and a few tops. The sale was worth going but people were crashing in the mall like an earthquake has hit Delhi and there's no where else to hide.

5 Tips To Avoid Messy Packing.

Every now and then we have to go out with friends or family. In my previous trip with my school friends, I discovered that my bag was just not ready to let my clothes in. It can get quite frustrating but then you have to manage with what you have. Even though I'm a 15 year old but sometimes I can act like a kid. Like the time when I asked my mum to pack my bags for the trip, she gave me the "Oh, you actually said that" look. That was the time I had to get out of my bed and pack my bags without taking anyone's help. Totally confused what to do, I ended up doing these experiments which surprisingly worked:

1. Roll the Clothes Like a Towel:
If your bag decides to show you attitude, this seriously works. Roll your clothes in pairs like a towel and keep a newspaper between the clothes to avoid crushing of clothes. (In pairs will work to avoid space for more clothes)

2. Make Columns
Divide all the things in columns. Keep night-wears on one side, day time clothes on one and glittery & blingy ones on another side. This also helps in taking out clothes easily without spoiling rest of the packing.

3. Keep a Different Bag for Accessories/Toiletries
I was really proud of myself for keeping a different bag for accessories and toiletries otherwise I would have gone crazy finding my hairbands, clips, rubberbands or my toothbrush, paste, hairbrush etc. A separate bag gives more empty space and keeps the small- small things safe and tidy at one place.

4. Take An Extra Paper/Plastic Bag for Used Clothes.
This was suggested by my mom which happened to be a good idea. If bad things happen to good clothes it's really disappointing but supposedly if you've got no place to keep the dirty clothes but with the clean clothes, things get worse. Thus an extra bag is a must.

5. Avoid Carrying Liquid Soaps, Food Items, Bottles of Water etc.
You cannot take a risk to carry both pretty clothes and the mentioned things. Try carrying paper soaps, dry food and if carrying liquid things, carry loads of tissues. (You wouldn't want your clothes to float in water) Always prefer carrying less amount of liquid things.

These tips really help as I have tried them personally.

That's it for now.
Will write soon.
Till then

My Day.

Well the so called "big" day did come after all. As you read in my previous blog posts that I wasn't really head over heels for my birthday (31st of May) but you know how mom's are. When they want something, they make sure to get it. So my mom planned a small lunch with my dear friends. It was a good experience after all but I had planned to mostly shop. Hate to do the cancellations.

Here's a small review of the day:

It's my Boo cake ;;)

Dress: My favorite F21; watch: Calvin Klein; Shoes: Thrift store

The dress is way too much plain. Let's say it was classy this time. I look a bit messy but that's probably because my hair decided to ditch me at the last moment. Shoes and watch goes just perfect though.

That's it for now.
Will write soon.
Till then
