This Year, I'm Going To...

Hardly any days are left for 2013 to come. The countdown has begun.
2012 holds a very dear memory in the back of my mind and heart both. As per the New Year: Old habits die hard, its time for resolutions :D

What are you planning to do as a blogger? What are your new year tricks? How are you gonna grow as a blogger in the coming year?

These are the questions, I'm gonna ask myself in the coming year.
Lets all agree, in the initial year every blogger focuses on more followers, blog getting popular and going worldwide.(thanks to IFB)At least that's what I had done.
But lets face it, once you've crossed the first year of blogging you actually grow as a blogger. Make some resolutions this year. Find a goal to fulfill by the end of the  year journey and don't forget to have fun in deciding the resolutions.
What are your New Year resolutions?

It's The Most Beautiful Time of The Year.

Christmas is one of those festivals which is full of happiness. There is so much of time to be with your loved ones. Even though India looks like a country not really into Christmas but in Delhi for teenagers like me, Christmas and the whole month of December is considered to be the most beautiful time of the year. Because it is true! It is the most beautiful time of the year (:

Spending Christmas with school friends is more than amazing :')
It's like a tradition now!

Yes, It was quite a fun time.

The Little Purple Dress.

India is the country known for food. Specially Delhi from where I belong. I am myself a worshiper of food.
So Delhi hosted food awards well known as "food oscars"
The best restaurants all over Delhi were short listed to receive the awards. It was a fine evening. I ended up there with my Little Purple Dress...

Hello Miss Photographer.

Heya dear bloggers and readers! It's getting cold in India. Today it actually started raining heavenly. And the bad thing about this is that even though I'm a sheer lover of winters I cannot enjoy it as I happen to be sick.
Anyways, as a blogger I try to convince people living around me that blogging changes your world and one should try this amazing ride. One of my friends who happened to be extremely good in photography just created her own photography based blog. She is one hell of a photographer.

Just like me she is also an Indian blogger. As the old quote states, "age is just a number" she is wonderful in her work. Here are some of her snapshots:

This is her blog:

She's not one to miss :)

Breaking Dawn Part II

"No matter of time will be long enough, so let's start with forever" This was the punch line of Breaking Dawn Part I.
But now the statement changes....

"My time as a human is over but I never felt so alive"

Who isn't excited for this movie which makes everyone skip a heartbeat? Every other fashion blogger ended up writing on Gossip Girl final season but I decided on choosing vampires over scandalizing fights. It's not that I'm not a dear fan of Gossip Girl but I always had a thing for vampires.

November 16 the date they say it is in India when I'll be head over heels in the movie hall. Till then all I can do is watch it's official trailers on YouTube everyday, again and again.

That's it for now. Will write soon.
Till then

Top 5 Girlie Flicks

Dear readers and my fellow bloggers I'm so decked up to tell you all that Trendy Mannequin is soon gonna launch its first magazine ever. This is the reason I'm not able to concentrate much on my blog and have been researching for my magazine since 4 weeks.
Anyways, this was one of those posts which I enjoyed writing the most because it reflects my 5 favorite girlie flicks which is also loved by many.

1. The Devil Wears Prada
The movie starts with Andrea Sachs (Anne Hathaway) getting a job in the Runway magazine as a co-assistant to  Miranda Priestly. (Meryl Streep) Andrea being the simple off fashion person doesnt understand the importance of this job as wherever she went people told her " a million girls would kill for this job" When things get rusty for her, Andy lands up to the art director Nigel (Stanley Tucci) who changes her into a new and fashionable Andy. Surprised by her new looks, Miranda also gets shocked to see the effort put in by Andy who could change the impossible into possible. When Andy changed her clothes and style, she also changed herself which wasn't accepted by her friends and boyfriend. But Andy at the end understands what her old life was and what the people who loved her meant to her. She gives her goodbyes to Runway and ends up working happily at a newspaper.
Who doesn't love Anne Hathaway? What a stunning movie with such amazing clothes and shoes.

2. Sex And The City
The movie revolves around 4 best friends Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parkers), Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall), Charlotte York Goldenblatt (Kristin Davis) and Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon) who are in their early 40's. Carrie is a writer who writes books on relationships, marriages, boyfriends etc. She then meets her knight in shining armor, John James Preston(Chris Noth). They both fall in love and decide to get married but Carrie's friend Miranda spoils everything unintentionally because of being frustrated of her married life. Preston calls off the wedding on the big day. At the end things fall back in place. Carrie and Big (John James Preston) get married.
Sarah Jessica Parker's dresses are beyond words and the heels can make any person go crazy. This ones's a must watch.

27 Dresses a 2008 romantic comedy film directed by Anne Fletcher takes us to the world of Jane Nichols (Katherine Heigl) who has been a bridesmaid for 27 weddings and the next wedding she has to attend is of her real sister and her boss on whom she has a secret. When Jane breaks it to everyone that Tess(her sister) lied to George (her boss)  about almost everything, the oh-so-cute couple’s marriage comes to an end. My favorite part of the movie was when Jane tries all those 27 bridesmaid dresses. She is looking pretty as ever and her smile is just the cherry on the cake.

4. Wild Child
When the rich spoilt teenager Poppy Moore crosses the line, her father sends her to a boarding school where she meets all kinds of snobbish girls and starts hating her new life. It isn’t long enough when she finally makes some new friends and come down to Earth. The clothes worn by Poppy Moore (Emma Roberts) are just talking about brands and are beyond words.

5. Mean Girls
Mean Girls is a 2004 American teen comedy film directed by Mark Waters. Mean girls starred by Lindsay Lohan tells us about Cady Heron who has just shifted from Africa and is homeschooled. She there makes 2 real friends who warn her to avoid the most popular clique group The Plastics ruled by Regina George. The Plastics make Cady their friend, invite her in their clique group and in no time Cady turns into a Plastic herself. Regina and Cady’s clothes are which one cannot miss.

Which are your favorite flicks? I'm eager to know :D
Till then... Much love

Gossip Girl

Who doesn't know the XOXO Gossip Girl sign off? Oh yes It's the american teen drama Gossip Girl. The show starts with the trend setter Serena Van Der Woodsen (Blake Lively) stepping back to her hometown New York city from a mysterious boarding school in Cornwall, Connecticut. Expecting a warm welcome by her best friend Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester), Serena receives a shock when she realizes things are not so good for her like before. Her childhood love and boyfriend for many years, Nate Archibald (Chace Crawford)is now dating Blair. She doesn't feel surprised by the bad guy Chuck Bass (Ed Westwick)who is still the same. The story is followed by Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley) and his sister Jenny Humphrey (Taylor Momsen). Once a girl watches Gossip Girl she can't stop talking about it. Gossip Girl is all about the Oh-So-Hot clothes. Blair is popular for her headbands. My personal favorite is the Season 2 Episode 1 in which Blair wore a white dress. The dress and the hairband are so eye catching that you forget the episode and just watch the clothes                                .
P.S- I got the XOXO sign off from Gossip Girl only ;)
                                                       Will write soon. Till then

Sometimes while watching a retro movie with mom, my eyes get stuck on the retro clothes and accessories and wonder, what fun it would be to dress up in retro like Audrey Hepburn and walk in polka dot dresses, flowery accessories, big puffed up hair. They kind of have their own world of retro clothes. A lot of make up and tied up hair adds the cherry onto it. The cat shaped sun-glasses makes them look sexy and hot. The big hats with net which covers the face. And the make up is speechless .Dark colored lipstick and dark eye make up goes hand in hand.

Hello Summers

Hello dear readers and bloggers. Finally the summers have set in! It is my favorite season as we can wear jumpsuits, dresses, skirts etc. So here's my outfit post for summers.

A girl should have atleast one jumpsuit in her closet and a girl like me who simply loves jumpsuits definitely has many jumpsuits in the closet. Its like the perfect match for summers. If not shorts or skirts, a jumpsuit would go with everything and it is comfortable as well as fashionable. I prefer more of the ones with shorts and not the full length jumpsuits

Shorts are my ultimate favorite. Shorts are my daily wear item and it is on the top of my list in summers. Definitely comfortable and comes in hell lot of colors. Everyone adores shorts.

For now only this much.
Till then
